As a further option, the legacy 3D support can be
exchanged for a pixel shader implementation based on Pixel
shader 1.0 technology. This allows for DirectX 8
compatibility. The default operation is to behave like a
T2R4 3D pipeline, however, the functionality can be changed
by downloading new pixel shaders into the core.
